OM642 Filter cap tips:

• Remove your stock filter cap and remove the old stock filter

• Use the o-rings that come with the new stock filter on our filter cap

• Carefully remove the center part of your stock filter cap and “click it” into our filter cap

• Insert the new stock filter in our filter cap

• For engines 2023 and older, you can use our filter cap tool here for simpler removal.
