This Oil Cooler Upgrade Kit is compatible with any EXTREME Bypass Oil Filter Kit and provides additional oil cooling through the bypass filtration circuit. Depending on operating conditions and installation, the system can reduce oil temperature across the cooler by approximately 40-80°F. Overall engine and oil temperature reductions will vary by vehicle, load, ambient temperature, and other operating conditions. Because this is a bypass oil cooler rather than a full-flow cooling system, it does not cool the engine's entire oil supply on every pass. However, continuously cooling a portion of the circulating oil can help reduce heat stress, support oil quality, and provide additional thermal management.
